We use two types of “green” teak. One is recycled from many sources, including wood reclaimed from natural disasters such as earthquake, flooding, and volcanic eruptions — and from maritime utilization. The other type comes from plantations that are certified sustainable for their environmentally responsible growing and harvesting practices.

The Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certifies all of our recycled wood. This designation is highly respected by environmental experts and ecologists worldwide.
